"The Producer" - Book One of "The Rebellion Writings" trilogy

"Manipulation, madness and mystery. I certainly could see this story line being developed into a screenplay one day, with the correct cast and crew it could be the next 1984!"

// Synopsis

In the not so distant future the Government is Business. The populace is lulled into complacency by the use of subliminal videos. There is order and peace; drugs and disease are things only seen in History class. But in keeping with human nature, there are those who seek to exploit the system and create a world they believe to be free from tyranny. Vid addicts rot their minds with hacked files, consumers are compelled to enhance the global economy and censors subdue those that seek to speak freely. Conspiring in the shadows of a semi-utopian society, The Producer plans a concealed revolution that will change the meaning of our existence.

"A satisfied reader", Amazon.com

The Producer, written by Jaden Braniff is a unique and surprisingly not so far fetched story. The characters are compelling and well developed which allowed me to form a vivid image in my mind as I read...I love that. I found myself always changing who I thought was "the producer", so it was also very unpredictable with many twists and turns. Oh and did I mention chapter 10? Because if I didn't, I really should...it's a must read. This is Jaden Braniff's first novel, and I have to say that I am very much looking forward to the sequel to find out what will become of this chaos that has developed, a much needed chaos I'd say. I recommend this novel to my family, friends as well as anybody who enjoys a good sci-fi story.

"Just start reading!! There's no time to explain!!", Amazon.com

The Stage takes the excitement and anticipation the “The Producer” left us with and amplifies it in this fast paced novel about a futuristic version of the world that is frighteningly close to the path humanity is currently on. The Characters are relatable to a point that you will become emotionally attached to their story and assume their actions as your own, and that will take you on a ride you would never have experienced prior to making the decision to pick up this book.
This is the second book in the series, and if you have not read the first one you would be able to follow and enjoy the story to a certain point, as there is a good balance of references to events that took place in the first book, which is appreciated if you are not reading the books back-to-back but doesn’t take from the current storyline or give the feel of re-reading the first book. I would highly recommend reading the first book, “The Producer” before deciding to read “The Stage”.
The plot twists make you want to read from cover to cover, and if that’s not possible will linger in your mind after you put the book down. The Characters have taken a dark turn since the Producer and you will have a good time getting to know them in the new world they’ve been forced into. My mind will drift in anticipation for the release of the final book so I can put to rest the conjecture of potential conclusions to this fantastic series.
